While I was at the door taking that closeup photo of the "Store Closed" sign, figured I might as well turn to my right and get this view of the old bistro while I was at it! It's assumed the new store will reuse this part of the building as their restaurant, even though the "bookstore 3.0" itself (a.k.a Novel) will be a good bit smaller than the Davis-Kidd, and Booksellers at Laurelwood stores that were here prior. It does seem the trend in retail these days is downsizing (or the unfortunate, even worse alternative), so not surprising at all the new store will occupy a smaller footprint.

The insect is a type of mayfly (order Ephemeroptera). Mayflies are characterized by their delicate, transparent wings, elongated bodies, and long tail filaments (caudal filaments). They are commonly found near freshwater environments and play an essential role in the ecosystem as a food source for fish and other aquatic animals.
Random closeup of my guitar, a Schecter Diamond Series double humbucker hardtail. It's a good guitar for playing heavy metal, which may have rather strongly influenced how I processed this!
