This is me trying to shoot a Martin Schoeller style close up. The detail he gets is amazing and I really like his work. This is taken with my 100mm f/2.8L which is very sharp. I probably took 100 shots to get a couple that were properly focused – it's hard when you're your own model!

A close-up of Devils Golf Course.
From earlier photo: Death Valley has so many different types of floor beds. Devils Golf Course is made of large salt crystals that were left behind when the lake here dried up many millions (?) of years ago. What I find completely crazy is that there the depth of these salt crystals goes 1,000 feet below the surface and in some place extends to 9,000 feet!
he sprayed me in the back when i was looking at records. i told him not to do that. he said "do you want to spray me back?"
I said "no, i'm just going to take your picture and put it on the internet"
Glasses #3 New White wayfarer raybans-slightly different styling w/ narrower less round lenses-seem to be a vintage wayfarer-wider nosebridge, too, frames may need to be adjusted for smaller size heads-one 1mm scratch on right lense. Barely noticeable on the outside of lens-can't see it thru inside of lense when wearing glasses. See pic. Honestly the smudge from my fingers looks worse than the tiny scratch which is almost invisible in real life. I had to use macro setting to take the photo. :) $18
This is a projection from a video camera which was set up behind his left shoulder, so we could watch his hands as he played on stage. Pretty cool stuff.
