Close up of the lips, because dammit, I was really proud of how thin I got those metallic paint lines. Dusty doll is DUSTY.

This mugphlute is approximately 14" long and 7" tall in its leather hard state. The close-up shows a little more detail that I usually reveal...and the messy workspace is pretty normal.
The holes in the ocarina have not been carved at this point, but the tone is strong and I expect to get a full octave from the small ocarina (keeping fingers crossed).
WPWD Challenge with a Twist
Outfit made by me (exclusive of Momoko mj's and tights by Shopoholican).
Crepe shirt with teeny crochet neckline and cuffs finished with tiny gold beads. Orange cotton skirt with uneven hemline and high waist. Hat is spotty orange and white with material flower to embellish.
Dragon also made by me (pattern by Sewlolita) made from felts and cotton yarn.

Close up. A lot of 10 fabric flower brooches made from recycled/reclaimed materials - only the brooch backs are new! These were for a wholesale order :)
I was shooting the sunrise over the marsh at Circle B, and was zoomed as far as I could on the big split tree out in the marsh when I noticed this little (Palm Warbler, I think) in the bushes pretty nearby, so I slowly swung the lens down & took a few shots.
It disappeared down at ground level for a few seconds, then popped out into the open almost literally right at my foot. I'm afraid if he'd been any closer the lens wouldn't have focused!
I was afraid to reach around and back the zoom off to get the whole bird in the frame, so his tail disappears out of the shot. Made my whole day! This is an even closer crop of the other shot.
