Berlin....2014 February 16th
C/O Berlin presents in cooperation with the Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival the project Close Up!
Thirteen young photographers are given the assignment of presenting their personal view of the Berlinale in all its diversity - the red carpet, glamorous film stars, hectic staff, or behind-the-scenes secrets. Each participant will decide on a theme, embark on a search for motifs, select images, and put together a series of works for exhibition. The photographs will be shown at C/O Berlin in front of the Amerika Haus at the conclusion of the Berlinale and the best series will receive an award.
This years participants are: Simon Becker, Xiomara Bender, Susanne Erler, Carina Feneis, Dominik Fleischmann, Sveta Goldstein, Sabine Kelka, Przemyslaw Nieciecki, Christin Raubuch, Christian Sarges, Jasmin Scherer, Milena von Bruchhausen and Karol Wysmyk.
A close-up on a bunch of maple tree seeds that blew down from a storm and landed on the sidewalk near by Mom's house in Chicago. Love the color and detail in this photo. This is the last picture of my walk through my childhood Chicago neighborhood.

This is a good friend of mine, Tess :) and I must admit this is probably the best work I have done thus far, especially on the post processing and getting that 3D Natural look. The lighting was hard to work with. So I had to construct a breast cleavage, As well as make changes to the bra strap that had malformed because of the pose. This took me quite a while to do, but I am very satisfied with the results, A bit of a shame that I didn't take it on green screen, But I suspect I will do something with this very soon!

Here is a close-up of the bracket with a SB-600 attached. The bracket is adjustable both height- and length- wise so that you can use any kind of flash you want. The fastening for the flash is a ¼” screw so you need some kind of adapter between the flash and the bracket (I use my hot shoe sync for the skyport).
This photograph is a close-up of the bronze elephant, silhouetted against the backdrop of the Arts House. It was a gift from King Chulalongkorn of Siam (now Thailand) when he visited Singapore in 1871.

I've never been satisfied with how the Lego designers create their blasters for SW ships. I understand that they are limited in part pieces but still...
In designing these I was torn as there are several reference models which either have single or double barrel type blasters. I went for the double look as it looks more menacing.
