This was my first time putting on bar tape, and as you can see, well, I'm not well versed in such tasks. I consulted this Park Tool Co. how-to page, and it didn't come out toooo bad, but I think if you see it up close you'd smirk.
And yea, how about that bike computer placement? I could never really stomach the non-symetrical look, and besides, I hate always looking at my current speed. This way I wont.

Close-up on the crusty top of the home-made baked macaroni and cheese, from Alton Brown's Good Eats recipe, made for a "comfort food" meal last night. Didn't turn out as cheesy as I like my Mac & Cheese, but wasn't too bad for the first time I've ever tried to make it from scratch.
These are shot with the Leica Q2 stacked with a close-up adapter (in this case, the Leica Elpro 52, which has a +7 diopter (or 2.75x). Any good close-up adapter (like the Marumi, will also work).
Yes, the Elpro 52 does work with the Leica Q(2,3) in macro mode so you can shoot even closer. There is no vignette issue as the Q2 is 49mm, but the Elpro is bigger, at 52mm. This is intentional as the slightly bigger diameter of the Elpro will allow it to avoid casting a vignette with the Summilux 28mm of the Q. The Elpro also comes with 2 step-up rings (46-52 and 49-52) in a specially designed leather case.

"Scott Kelby's 2nd annual World Wide Photo Walk" We toured the CSU Campus and had lots of fun taking pictures.
Close up of the back of the miniature tree that once started out as a wimpy bead tree from a miniature Christmas tree kit that I picked up from Michael's years ago.
Swapped out the original tree with a 12" Remax Tree Arbre evergreen, which was much bigger and fuller, and allowed more ornaments to be hung.
The mini tree series produced some fantastic miniature ornaments to supplement the series. I got a bunch on clearance sale when they discontinued it a year later. These would be the snowflakes, icicles, brass flat ornaments, the teeniest gold ornament hooks and miniature blinking lights where the wires are attached to a large Christmas wrapped present control box. Haven't come across quality that even comes close since.
The larger wrapped presents I made, as well as the "ball" ornaments, which are made out of a number of semi-precious stone and bali silver beads.
The other items under the tree are random miniatures picked up here and there, mostly from the craft and scrapbooking sections in Michaels. Some are modified ornaments for mini trees.
