10/2010: A close-up of the top of the cake. The names and date were done with an edible image printer. The tourrets are cardboard tubes covered in fondant and embellished with royal icing.

This was my first time putting on bar tape, and as you can see, well, I'm not well versed in such tasks. I consulted this Park Tool Co. how-to page, and it didn't come out toooo bad, but I think if you see it up close you'd smirk.
And yea, how about that bike computer placement? I could never really stomach the non-symetrical look, and besides, I hate always looking at my current speed. This way I wont.

I actually like his eyes now, they're not as "alarmed" looking as I thought it was, they look like anime-ish eyes.

Fountains of Bellagio
Out of all the pictures I took of the Fountains... this one is probably on the top of my list.
Big wet felted cobweb wrap. MAde of fine merino wool and silk.. Exhibited at Burra Art gallery - SALA 2010.

Ten minutes after arriving home my son arrived and said there was a dead Magpie on the road outside our house. Looks like it was hit by a car and obviously in the previous ten minutes.

Close-up on the crusty top of the home-made baked macaroni and cheese, from Alton Brown's Good Eats recipe, made for a "comfort food" meal last night. Didn't turn out as cheesy as I like my Mac & Cheese, but wasn't too bad for the first time I've ever tried to make it from scratch.
These are shot with the Leica Q2 stacked with a close-up adapter (in this case, the Leica Elpro 52, which has a +7 diopter (or 2.75x). Any good close-up adapter (like the Marumi, will also work).
Yes, the Elpro 52 does work with the Leica Q(2,3) in macro mode so you can shoot even closer. There is no vignette issue as the Q2 is 49mm, but the Elpro is bigger, at 52mm. This is intentional as the slightly bigger diameter of the Elpro will allow it to avoid casting a vignette with the Summilux 28mm of the Q. The Elpro also comes with 2 step-up rings (46-52 and 49-52) in a specially designed leather case.
