This was my first time putting on bar tape, and as you can see, well, I'm not well versed in such tasks. I consulted this Park Tool Co. how-to page, and it didn't come out toooo bad, but I think if you see it up close you'd smirk.
And yea, how about that bike computer placement? I could never really stomach the non-symetrical look, and besides, I hate always looking at my current speed. This way I wont.
