A close-up of the Romanian beggar lady the day after my first photo, still sitting in the same spot. I think she gave me a wink or the evil eye. Here is the shot from the previous day: flic.kr/p/m9B5uZ. Portfolio / Tumblr blog / 500px
Nikon 3200, close up of Erica in the midst of a turn of the head. Being bored in the house on a rainy day can be so fun!
my mom actually took this picture. weird, seeing her stance on tattoos. but i think she's loosening up, actually. she jokes about it. though she still insists that it's billboard sized and "flaming," she doesn't hate it, and i do believe she admitted it was nicely done.
anyway, it's the only picture i have where you can clearly see the script, which is absolutely beautiful. My artist hand drew all of this on the stencil. That's just his handwriting. I like it better that way.
btw, i got this done at Texas Body Art in Houston by Brandon. amazing.

Brilliant thing. It is a Sony 7 adapter for M-lenses - but it is also a close up helical. Turn your lens to closest focus - flip the small lever on the side and continue focussing with the adapters helical. How close you get depends on the focal length of the lens being used.
This past weekend, I visited the monthly Long Beach Flea Market, specifically to take macro-photographs and close-up photos of trinkets, geegaws, and baubles. I was not disappointed.
