Photos of my Toronto Garden taken on July 14th. Most of the flowers are in bloom!
Lovely snapdragons! These flowers reseed themselves each year in my garden.
Close-up view of vintage asbestos sheet gasketing material, labeled as Armstrong AN-890. At this level of detail, the chrysotile asbestos fibers can be seen as small white fibers on the surface of the dark grey gasket matrix.
The maxi dress the figure is wearing is the same as what the birthday girl is wearing tonight at her party.

After an hard season supporting three youngsters it seemed to take more effort than usual for Osprey 28 to pluck his trout out of the water.

Lunar close-up showing the very cratered southeastern region. In the centre of the image is Crater Piccolomini, a prominent lunar impact crater named after the 16th century Italian Archbishop and astronomer Alessandro Piccolomini. It is 88 kilometers in diameter and 4,500 meters deep. It was created 3.8 to 3.2 billion years ago. The long escarpment, Rupes Altai extends from the western rim of Crater Piccolomini and continues northwards for about 427 km. Above Crater Piccolomini is the much eroded Crater Fracastorius which is located at the southern edge of Mare Nectaris. At the bottom of the image is Crater Metius

Hard to get a really good shot with all the black, but this shows the pot a little better, I used a number 4 piping tube to cut out heaps of little rounds and then coloured them gold to look like gold coins.

The new Nikon AF-S 28/1.8G masters shots at closer focusing distances with ease - if you stop down a bit (here f5.6). Shot on a D800, developed from RAW in Ligtroom 4 with Adobe standard rpofile. Sharpening at 70/0.5/36/10.
