Well, my football season ended prematurely, leading to more free time. With my ample time, I realized how distant from the hobby I was. So to make up for spare time, I did something I have always wanted to do, make my own Commando. I bought Star Wars: Republic Commando back in the summer, and I instantly fell in love with the game. This, and the release of Star Wars Battlefront II, revived the drive of wanting to dig out the tools and work with my parts. Also, I just realized that I missed my 7 year anniversary, which has also lead me on a trip down memory lane. I am more than grateful for the relationships and fun I have had on this website, and I hope that this will continue. Anyways, I'm done with the personal stuff, on to the figure.
The figure I have created is based off the basic Republic Commando from the Star Wars Universe. His name and color scheme are based off of my High School Football teams colors, maroon and white. The helmet and backpack were base commando parts from Clone Army Customs. The chest piece, knee pads, shoulder pads, and pouches are made from ProCreate. The crotch and ab pieces are cut from the Spartan Armor from BrickForge. I painted this myself with Apple Barrel and Citadel Paints.

L-R:
Hero (similar to the soldier class but very OP and loads of
health, like a Jedi in SWB)
Medic (Healing abilities, think of a TF2 medic)
Warrior (Pretty good all round, average stats)
Heavy (Loads of health, powerful attacks that can't be used often and are slow)
Elite (Long Range attacks, quick, very agile)

I received my clone kit in the mail today... Some assembly required?!? Seriously?
Hey, wait! I didn't receive the "TORSO" box!
What the heck?

Hey you guys!
This is probably the longest I've been away from flickr and certainly the most unplanned. We left home last Friday night to new york, where we spent about 5 hours. And believe it or not, we actually roamed around the city, all the way to time square. My dad’s friend and his son showed us around because I really wanted to see times square because the last time we went to NYC we never had the chance to visit Manhattan!! I did take a couple of pictures though. Then we had to get on a flight to Atlanta that got delayed almost 5 hours because of the hurricane that was about to hit Texas. When we finally reached Houston it was around 3 am and me and my dad were so tired. Our old house looked exactly the way it did when we left it, it felt so good to be home.
besides the fact that my room looked like pink smurf had been living in it! I really need to make it over. I mean I knew I loved pink, in my early teen years; but what was I thinking buying every piece of furniture in my room except my bed, table and mirror table pink! Gawdd!
We had to get so many things done and with only a couple of days till college starts, i was out all day. In addition to that we didn’t have a proper internet connection until now. Well, lovely thing about moving back here is that now I have a new setting for all my pictures including floral macros and self portraits.
I want to apologize for this unbelievably long long long break, I really missed you guys! And I understand if you guys don’t feel like commenting this after me being so occupied and not visiting your streams, but I'm on my way to visit all your streams right now.

Upon reviewing my old commando template, I figured it was inaccurate and outdated. I remade the leg, arm, and helmet templates to better match the clone wars commandos seen on the show.
Please check out the alternative views to see the details put into it! If you fave, comment too please. Thanks to Arealight for the amazing backpack and helmet!

So I've heard that Clone Wars reached an end. I really enjoyed that show and I feel I will be missing it. Once I said I would only do classic SW pics but I feel it's somehow right thing to celebrate this cartoon so I took a photo based on my favourite episode from second season. Hope you like it ;)
Well this week I didn't have any homework so i thought I would finish editing this photo.... Now the photo is old as hell, but i wanted to give it a white background! Its not the best editing, considering i did it in Paint, but atleast it did the job.
Ohh and thanks to MLD Customs for designing the feet decals, and DeanLego for designing Rex's legs decal.
digital art
I used two elements to create this.
We recently had new windows installed and hadn't replaced the blinds or curtains yet. I noticed that after dark a light on a building across the way caused the pebbled, frosted window in the bathroom to sparkle. It also had some silhouettes of tree branches on it. So I took several photos and used one for my background, turned sideways, & cloned the sparkly parts to hide the tree silhouettes.
I was playing with a new app on my iPad called Flame Painter. I used one of the abstract images I created as an overlay over the window photo. It has a black background which hides much of the window, but leaves a hint of the sparkly effect.

I am still wondering...................who's imitating who? By the way , if you like illusions!
"let's leave Agnes. This restaurant looks a little too two-dimensional for my liking."
Agnes is the one in blue, she is a doll that I had to have at any cost. While strolling through eBay I found this girl and fell in love with her immediately. The combination of her grey/green toned hair with the big sweater, slacks, boots, and necklace she was wearing was so unique and reminded me a little of both my mum and nan. Her knitted sweater was cute, but when I fluffed her hair up a bit she looked quite French to me, so I decided to see what she looked like in some of my French mummy-made fashions. I personally think she looks great in the hand knitted shell top and skirt. She is wearing the necklace she came wearing, sans the giant medallion that was out of scale. She is a Camay clone of a Side Part Bubble Cut.
Next to her is a "Catherine Beauty" doll. She is a Tressy clone. I love her wig, it is a silver-toned blonde bubble cut. She is also wearing a French mummy-made fashion.
I was watching Ep. 2 the other day and was thinking "WOW! Clone Wars helmets and Ep. 2 Clone helmets are a bit different." Then I thought "I can do that"
A figure that I have had laying around the past week or two. The white SP3 legs fit perfectly.
Obviously inspired by |Color|.
Never really showed off my clones but here they are. Not I have multiples of some of these.
Also Andrew does this help?
Another one from yesterday morning, this was my first visit to Charlie's Garden.
Waves spraying sea water everywhere & covering my filters!! done my best to clone out as much as possible!

It's quite difficult shooting this little castle with an 18mm lens as if you back up more than about 4metres you fall down a cliff.
I never realised how difficult it was to shoot a flapping flag and of course the shot I liked had a floppy flag and the shots with a good flag weren't great, always the way.
So out came the cloning tool to transfer between images, and I do almost always declare this in shots, but I thought I'd try something different this time, so there's no doubt what's going on.
The crow was in an underexposed shot, typical, I blame sun spots.
The arms, legs, and helmet have been given redesigns. Personally, my favorite redesign is the arms. View on all sizes to see the details!
Canon EOS 450D, Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8 L USM, F/9 @ 32mm, 1/20, ISO 400.
9 shots at each different location, using a tripod.
The ARC Troopers that I have made so far.
The generic clone lieutenant (standard ARC trooper from the 2002 Star Wars - Clone Wars series) is on the left, and custom ARC Dyno is on the right.
As we had hoped, the clone has proved to be a nice addition to the household chore rotation. What we did not expect? The added expense of hair dye. Seems the clone wanted her own look. I must admit, having the clone be a redhead has certainly cut down on embarrassing make out mix-ups!
