While I continue to put off posting the TIE Interceptor and B-Wing for no good reason, I built this, and posted it instead. This ship never really stuck with me until I watched the Clone Wars cartoon, and now I see it as one of those classic Star Wars designs. This model isn't meant to add something to the world of Lego Republic Gunships that isn't already out there. Instead, it's simply my own version on an already fully explored concept.
Based on the original design and inspired by some concept art.
Features fully detailed tandem cockpit, front gunner, rear gunner and troop compartment. The chin guns from the original were replaced with intakes (like many soviet fighters) and the fuselage changed from a triangular to a circular cross section. Very smooth hull with opening and closing doors and fences along the sides for stability. Same with the wings.
This was a fun build, and I think I improved the look of the original gunship. I wish I were a better photographer as this thing is very intimidating.
During the Clone Wars, clone CC-2224 was the commander of the Republic's Ghost Company, 7th Sky Corps, and 212th Attack Battalion. He fought alongside Captain Rex and General Obi-Wan Kenobi. He was one of the first to act on Order 66, the command implanted in all clones to kill the Jedi Knights.
6-inch Black Series figure.

May the 4th Be With You!! <(o o)>
this is my 2nd attempt in CLONING
I learned how to do it properly from the LARAWANG PINOY THREAD www.flickr.com/groups/larawangpinoy/discuss/7215760751209... c/o DadaAce... except that I didnt use photoshop but THE PRINT SHOP and PICNIK instead.
So very hard to take good pics during the show as you can't control the lighting and this is how the icy hillside looks like taken from a different perspective.
This was on display at the Clone Army Customs booth during BrickFair Somerset NJ last weekend.
Making fun of how Lex Luthor, Mr. Krabs, Dogpound/Dark Ninja, and Savage Oppress were all voiced by Clancy Brown.

Because i don´t have too many big mocs planned for the next couple of weeks/months, i won´t be too active here. In the meantime, enjoy this stickered clone i made a few months back!
I've had these done for like a week I was just procrastinating finishing Geonosis. I've been really interested in the early Clone Wars recently, and this is mainly how I expressed it.
From top to bottom: Geonosis, Jabiim, Christophsis, Kamino
The Republic learns of an impending Separatist attack on Kamino bent on destroying Kamino's clone production facilities and sends reinforcements for the defense of the planet. Obi-Wan tours one of the cloning facilities with Lama Su as Fives and Echo meet up with an old friend Ninety-Nine.
These are old demi-WIPs. The only one I really consider finished is the gray camouflaged one to the right. The idea for that was to make "digital camo," but with triangles instead of rectangles, just for fun!
Both Phase I helmets in the middle used to be regular Clone Wars helmets, and I completely redid their face printing with my carving-and-painting technique to make their visors look like *ahem* real clones from Episode II. GoddamnstupidwasteofStarWarsfundsthatcouldhavebeengoodbutnoyoumadearidiculousCARTOONdamnyouDaveFilonidamnyou I didn't see how splotchy the blue painting is, and the red painting was done back in the day with Testors Enamel. Blech. What a pain to work with.
Please enjoy! Also, I took some photos today that I think I'll save to upload on some rainy day in the fall or winter when I'll be away from the hobby completely.

This is what happens when planes are late and you get stuck for 7 hours in a hotel room near the airport, instead of being on your way to vacation ...
I am glad that I tried this process once ... good fun!

It seems like there are far too many 'Angry Clone' heads around, so I thought I'd try and fix a few of them.
These are all based off the same head, and modified using only a Sharpie and an x-acto knife. I didn't do anything with the eyebrows, but even with just changing the mouth a range of expressions are possible.

Four Republic Clone Troopers begin their task of infiltrating an Outpost on a remote beach planet in the Outer Rim Worlds. They have just landed on the beach and above the beach, are inside the Sand Dunes looking for a possible entrance into the Confederacy Outpost.
