Never liked the Clone Gunner helmets. They are supposed to be more heavily armoured, so I tried adding a solid visor and I quite like the way it looks.
I think the gold visor would be more fitting with a bit of detailing and Republic symbol decals.
Ideas welcome.
I'm working on a commission for a client that he's fine with me sharing the files for when it's done. This means you'll all have some fun new .blends to download and play with soon enough. (All you people will the strange enthusiasm for clone troopers are now free to piss yourselves in excitement. ;) )
Also included in the commission are some Airborne troopers and a few commanders.
We did this shoot to promote both her band, Lavender Steel, and the t-shirts they'll be selling at the merch table.
4 weeks ago, Aaron (A Plastic Infinity), installed a virus that would destroy the cloning software and DNA decoding equipment in my cloning warehouse. Since then, my servants have been working extremely hard to fix it and it is finely fully functional again. We even installed a new personality replicator, so if you want to clone anyone, my services are once again available!
Oh, and Aaron. If you ever think about breaking in again, I will have you know that are security measures have been updated as well.

I usually don't make much clones. But here is what I came up with, using EMD's helmets and Republic Custom's torsos. tell me what you think guys! also Lumbrax, thanks for the awesome helmet and Freebie viewfinder!

Commando Ratchet is a custom clone commando based on the Commandos in the Clone Wars. He uses a custom set of decals designed by me (using a Chaotic Good template). Foot decal design credit to BX Customs.
Ratchet utilizes custom waterslide decals, Arealight Commando helmet, and a BrickArms XDMR and Stun Grenade put together to make a DC-17m Commando Rifle.

I made this based off a picture I’d seen. Needless to say, it took a long time. So I decided to make a guide for it, including colors and bead counts.
If I can figure out how to scan it, (it is in a notebook) I’ll post the pattern later.

Every morning is a nightmare in our house. You just can't have a shower or pee in peace. If it isn't my husband late for work and pushing me out, it is one of the children demanding something or needing some company.
So I managed my first clone despite my laptop having a near death experience, my camera being on the blink and a small child who wanted my full attention all morning.
And the riots in the caves continue... We apprehended a few of the criminals that had attacked us earlier, but now those damn spiders showed 'em where we were. Now making our way through the upper levels of the cave, we can see the masses below... and there are a few of our men down there too. They're just being lead around, beaten... They're suffering. Those ATPTs had better get here soon- we need the help.
Anything I can do in by black Jolie Moi sunray pleated skirt, I can do in my dark red one :-)
I really should stop cloning so many skirts in different colours ;-)
