In a somewhat remote location within Gila Wilderness area of southwestern New Mexico are the mysterious Gila Cliff Dwellings.
The alcoves within this mountain canyon are natural features; the canyon was created by thousands of years of undercutting by a meandering creek which ate away at the Gila Conglomerate rock. Additional erosional processes created the alcoves seen here.
Although the archaeological record has been difficult to piece together, it is thought that native peoples of the region periodically used these alcoves and other sites in the region beginning in the 6th century. The structures built within the alcoves were built by the Tularosa Mogollon in the late 13th century.
Their tenure was short-lived, however. By the beginning of the 14th century, the Mogollon abandoned the cliffs and migrated to other parts of the greater region. They are thought to have joined and assimilated with the pueblo cultures that developed in the northwestern part of New Mexico and along the middle Rio Grande valley.

The Cliffs of Moher are sea cliffs located at the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare, Ireland. The closest settlements are Liscannor (6 km south) and Doolin (7 km north).

This was taken in 1996 during a trip across the Southwest with my father. Tour groups were going through the ruins, but I was able to time the shutter on this one for a time when no one was walking through. It was taken with the same setup as Cliff Palace B&W with an exposure twice as long.

The White Cliffs of Dover are cliffs which form part of the English coastline facing the Strait of Dover and France. The cliffs are part of the North Downs formation. The cliff face, which reaches up to 110 m, owes its striking facade to its composition of chalk accentuated by streaks of black flint. The cliffs spread east and west from the town of Dover in the county of Kent, an ancient and still important English port.
*14. **_**Enchanting Lush Attractions Above the Abyss.*_
**Bees' Cliff constitutes a hidden, unknown void, which can become a real danger and, further, does not allow direct, easy proximity from either the east or the west side of the gorge's slopes.*
**These precipitous cliff sides are so seriously too steep that all visual contacts towards the bottom of the abyss are impossible.*
**In all expressions of its nature, as a multi-dimensional beauty, it's despite all; nevertheless, a false invitation of security delivered and this through the surrounding nature's grandiose lush veil of Bees' Cliff (14). This treacherous danger includes even any closer hiking from within the depth bottom of the canyon along the riverbanks (35).*
**Due to this alluring beauty, a deceivingly natural trickery is delivered. The easter canyon's slope gives here an impression of inviting lush beauty but nevertheless a treacherous one with a fertile green breathtaking threshold, well hiding a shocking void.*
**Although this remarkable rock vault and bath is the most entertaining of wild places, it is nevertheless a directly fatal place during rainy seasons, without any possibility of a positive outcome.*
** *CAUTION - Wild Bees and Children*
While the Bees cliff is an inviting natural spot, this applies in particular to wildlife, that can contribute to problems if visiting people do not respect the wildlife or act directly destructively and provocatively. This may include both Hyena and baboon although this would be very unusual as they usually flee immediately in case of direct contact with humans. The challenge here, however, is the Bees, and these attacks are unexpectedly aggressive, as well as with often serious consequences. There are frequent occasions in various places around the world that children throw stones into high-lying wild bee communities, thereby triggering an attack on other innocent hikers or tourists. Therefore, pay attention to these busy young children because they can with common mischief behaviour even start a bee swarm's aggressiveness by stone-throwing from the opposite side of the canyon.
*14.* _Waterfalls and Hidden Arches._
The gorge under Bees' Cliff is breakthrough deep and creates before its fall, hidden mountain arches and deep baths, behind Juniper trees.
The paths up to Bees' Cliff (14) offer several options; the northern hillside of (36), (38-39), - (15-16) and (41), where Podocarpus and Juniper trees give strong reason to consider both vegetation and purging water.
*14.* _Description of the photo._
The picture here below is from within the enclosure's of the rock vault just on the threshold of the waterfall and in the direction down towards the abyss of Bees' Cliff.
This outlet for the waterfall, however, is both a cosy and mysteriously hidden place and people with sensitivity for heights should not climb into this concealed mountain space without being double secured with harnesses and other equipment.

_*Safety Preparations & Unique Adventures.*_
_Qualifications and care are necessary as the hiking trails are either particularly varied or dramatic in their diversity propagation up to Entoto's high plateau._
_Depending on the possible risk of injury, fatigue or heart fragility, should not any concealed walk in the dry creek bed be done without company, but at least one more person requires in this type of concealed seasonal hiking. At least two litres of water per person in unbreakable bottles is a minimum for these Highlands adventures to Bees' Cliff._
_*Caution During the Rainy Season.*_
However, provided that the trekking not is made during rainy periods, the long stretches of tributary river banks (35) also offer a lot of relaxation and enjoyment, especially after that the path deviates and continues upward just before the old pipeline joins the reservoir of the Italian fortification (38).
*35. **_**Very Clear Restrictions for further Hiking.*_
Anyway, the safety boundary of the continuous path along the river's shoreline (35) gives clear indication that this route does not include Bees' Cliff (14) as it visibly is too steep and directly dangerous except for possible experts with safety harnesses and other equipment.
This danger appears thus with clarity when walking along the path of this river's shoreline (35) and requires only a short walk back to reach the trails on the eastern slopes of the riverbank.
_Harmonic Currents Along the River._
Since all streams around Entoto run up within a short distance to the highest part of the plateau, there is no risk of being surprised by a far and accumulated sudden river flow from an unknown distance. There is also no known weakness in the deep rock pools that could constitute a magazine water mass just waiting to break through a weak point in the cliff bottom.
However, be careful and expect even the worse type of scenario, because the animals are wild and even the strongest rock will break if the bad luck together with very rare and significant earthquake would be coincident.
