Day 68 of One Object 365 Days Project
a closer look at the limestone cliffs- there are many layers or plateaus- and hiking often means to climb from one plateau up to the next- like Grand Canyon hikng.....
Before we add any more bird photos from this beautiful place, here is an idea of what it's like to watch the birds from these cliffs... we saw gannets, puffins, razorbills, guillemots, kittiwakes and fulmars. A brilliant day!
I am absolutely fascinated by waves/sea/movement in water and could have stood there all day taking photographs. As it is I have about 100 of different variations on this one (don't worry, I won't post them all) ;-)
October 3, 2022: Ireland. Visited friends in West Cork and a castle in Cashel on our way to Shannon Airport
The view towards Cathedral Cove on the Coromandel Peninsula. The water was cold, but it certainly looked like a tropical beach
The first light of the day strikes a fog bank off the coast of Sunset Cliffs Park in San Diego. The seascape conditions were not spectacular during our trip to San Diego last week, but we did catch some good soft light during this morning. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!
The wall as I saw it last Sunday looks impressive and beautiful, with a long and gentle slope, amazing geological lines and the nice tones of sandstone. Maybe the picture needs something else... a pair of seagulls, a glider, dramatic clouds, a dinosaur footprint... Or maybe it doesn't... Tomorrow I'll go back there for dawn and sunrise. Wanna come?
For the Fenced Friday Group. Protective fence to keep people and cows from accidently walking over the cliff edge. Eagle Canyon, Emery County, Utah. HFF!
