Or if you prefer (which I most certainly do), the Cliffs of Insanity! Pretty sure someone stashed a horcrux around here somewhere too.
The Sea Cliff Bridge, together with the adjoining Lawrence Hargrave Drive Bridge, are two road bridges that carry the scenic Lawrence Hargrave Drive across the rockface on the Illawarra escarpment, located in the northern Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia.
These amazing cliffs are on Maria Island. Unfortunately we weren't on the island at sunset which would have really lit up the west facing rock face. What you see is actually rock, not ochre or the like.
The beautiful old city of Cuenca in central Spain. Some of the houses along the cliff date back to the 16th century.
Mesa Verde National Park, in Colorado USA, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Construction and refurbishing of Cliff Palace by Ancestral Puebloans, also known as Anasazi, was active from approximately 1190 CE through 1260 CE. Cliff Palace contains 23 kivas (round sunken rooms for rites and meetings) and 150 rooms and had a population of approximately 100 people. The dwellings were abandoned by ca. 1300, most likely because of sustained drought conditions.

The irresponsible stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me.
There are frequent cliff falls here at Birling Gap, and yet people still go to the very edge and look over. I couldn't believe it when I saw this family with 2 young children walk to the edge, although they did take hold of their hands before they got there. Plus it was blowing a gale and a small child could easily get blown over.
High above the River Douro in Porto 1400 class 1424 works her way precariously between Sau Bento station and Campania hauling the 1320 departure to Pocinho.
The 1400 class have the same engines as our class 20s but super charged to give 1400 HP and they sound fantastic.
Flipping around a bit - this is across the country to Queensland, and specifically north near Cairns. Caught the scenic train (can see in top left corner) from Cairns to Kuranda up in the hills to the northeast. This is Barron Falls, and despite it being the wet season, not much water flowing. It has been a relatively dry period, but also there is a big dam on the river these days, so the flows over these falls are somewhat restricted.
Here's the beautiful coastline along the north island of New Zealand, very close to the Te Arai Lodge, where we stayed for a few days last week. It's an incredible family-run lodge there, and I highly recommend it! On our first morning there, we went on a great 3-hour hike... the first bit was up through the high hills along the cliff and the second bit was along the rocky beach there.
