Ever since CitiRail's fleet of ES44AC's hit the rails back in 2013, I always get excited when I see on of their locomotives on a train. The paint scheme is one of the sharpest running on North American rails today. When I see one in the lead, it makes the day even better!
CitiRail 1322 rests in the siding at Escalon on the day after Christmas. It's awaiting a rested crew to take it south down the San Joaquin Valley.

Serial number 60125 was departing as BBA22 (Bombardier Inc.) on what would be a four hour and 20 minute long test flight. During that mission, it climbed to 47,000 feet.

This was the second last departure of an aircraft from Downsview Airport in 2023. The last departure was when this aircraft performed another test flight on December 30.
