Cisco is now a year and a half old. He is one of the most energetic Aussies we have ever had and that says a lot. He is still very excitable but he is getting better at learning things. He definitely needs to run and be engaged every day to get some of his energy burned off. He has an affinity for all things tennis ball as you can see. He drinks water with a total abandon and creates mini (and many !) floods in the kitchen when he drinks water. Thank goodness for water proof floors and old towels at the ready! Weather is warming up a bit so hopefully can get out the camera for better photos soon.
Yes, I will be taking as many photos of Cisco as I can to document his growth and (hopefully) personality as it becomes more obvious. Cisco is our Red Merle male Australian Shepherd puppy. Currently (today) he is approx 4 and a half months old. He has very bright electric blue eyes and he is very sensitive to bright sunlight which is why he is kind of squinting here. The only way I can really capture his electric blue eyes is if he is in a shady spot or indoors. The other day I noticed that his 'feathers' are starting to come in around his ears, neck, legs and his 'pants' (aka fluffy butt). You may also note that he has a very curly\wavy coat on his back. This trait is one found in his family history and is also one found in Australian Shepherds that come from working stock. As far back as we can trace Cisco's lineage he does come from some serious working stock.
We have also noticed that white dogs have an affinity for playing in red Georgia clay! Silly boy!
