Thinking fondly of
- my son who brought me the flowers
- my English friends Gloria and Lesley of whom I bought the candle stick and the glass cake tray which carries everything but cakes....
- my sister who provides me with wonderful little presents every day in advent
- my sister who has worked so hard for her exhibitions and will undergo surgery tomorrow
- my Hero Husband for everything he does (and doesn't) do for me.
(Not necessarily in this order....)
I am so thankful to be able to live in such a peaceful country, in a beautiful home, with heating to keep warm, with birds providing me with entertainment when I look outside my window, I think of all my friends, the happy ones and especially the sad ones, those who lost a dearly beloved one, those who got married, had children, those who are alone, ill, old, but also of those who are just going on strongly and with a happy face.
