The original Ferris Wheel was designed and constructed by George W. G. Ferris, for the 1893 World's Exposition in Chicago. The term Ferris wheel later came to be used. Over here in Germany we call it: Riesenrad = Giant's wheel. This huge over dimensioned one is seen in our cute little town over here in Germany on our Christkindle's Market. It is much, much higher than our houses in the town's center seen in the background.
The fare is 3 Euros, app. 5 USD for the 5 min. ride, but worth every EuroCent.

Stock Exchange in Frankfurt/M. Germany
Right in front of our main German Stock Exchange, the Frankfurter Börse, there are two statues, one of the bull as shown and another one of the bear.
Right now everybody here is " bullish" since the winners made it this year as you can see from the chart below.
Now over the festival time around Christmas and Year's end in front of the "Börse" there are a couple of stands selling hot wine, wine, champagne, Bratwurst, etc. People go there for an after work party to relax.
