Christmas mood in New York City: Supersized Christmas balls on the Avenue of the Americas (6th Ave) in Midtown Manhattan, New York. Opposite of Radio City Music Hall the giant balls are placed on a mirror of water.
The Merrion Hotel is a Leading Hotel of the World, located in the heart of Dublin, Ireland. Highly recommended. We enjoyed our Christmas lunch here, a beautiful hotel, gorgeous Christmas decorations, the Garden, the Merrion Pantry incl. gorgeous jams and more. Very memorable.

An idea that i had for a long time, and i waited the Christmas break so i could do it, i did spend a lot of Hours on this shot, trying to get it as much closer to my concept and this is what i really liked the most... I did the Splash with a simple tool, that i found in the pharmacy... Nothing Fancy but still i think its pretty good :)

Bras Basah Road, this is right outside of "Hotel Carlton" where i was staying in. The road was wonderfully lit up for Christmas. If felt like a magical land. The Christmas joy was all in the air in this place.
I look back just 2 weeks ago how i was feeling here in Singapore with the Christmas mood and how im feeling now with Christmas in India, i can tell you that im sick to the stomach. I don't care about Christmas anymore or for that matter the new year. Fuck everything, we are here to die like dogs on the streets at the hands of some muslim bonehead punk. The TV crew gets ratings, politician gets the vote. 3 days later we call "Mumbai bounces back" on 2nd page on paper and we dont give a fuck who is dead and who is alive.

Time to act, creating orkut and facebook communities do not prove jack shit. 90% of Indians dont understand what the internet is. The last time i checked this asshole does not give a rats ass about the 5 minutes of silence we can observe for the dead. I bought some Christmas stuff (this little tree and some other things) this week. I didn't decorate my room in the years before, but Sindy like it and now I think it was a good idea. I got a much better Christmas mood.
We had some snow this week and it's damn cold outside. On the streets was a lot of chaos. Many trains couldn't drive. On the day before yesterday I needed 1.5 hours to drive to work, normally I need 40 minutes!!! Crazy!
My parents visit us this weekend. My dad and me want to work a bit at our apartment and we want to go to the Christmas market. So I wish you a wonderful weekend! :-)
