Pasta J Asian. Really good food, but a long wait time (read: they forgot my order) spoiled the experience for me.

Another image from my trip to Chowder Bay this week. Lots of rubbish from the recent heavy rain was caught in the net which provided a nice softness in the breeze.

Verdict: mixed. The flavor is excellent (could use more shiitake), but the texture's a bit unpleasant. Potatoes are a bit undercooked, and the cod is slightly chewy instead of flaky, which I think means I overcooked it. Worst of all, the bits of popcorn kernel shell from the popcorn flour have exactly the same mouth feel as fish bones, leading to nonstop paranoia while eating.

ireland might not know that they have some of the best sea food chowder in the world.
