Lots of the Apache chillis ripening so harvested a bowl full and have started to ferment them. Fingers crossed that they'll be ready in a couple of weeks and I can blend up a couple of bottle of hot sauce!
This is a shot of one red Thai chilli pepper that I duplicated several times. Changed the colour a couple of times, added shadows and a wood texture made from scratch.
I put this together for Slider Sunday

My first attempt to get my own pungent chilli peppers on my balcony. Yes, I'm happy! Finally, the harvest seems to be very satisfactory... 😊 😁
BNSF L CHI105 is seen blasting into the sunset, ripping through the small twon of Mazon on BNSF's Chillicothe Subdivision.
I don't know if it is centralized to the Galesburg pool or the entire system, but 4 axle leasers have invaded the BNSF system as of late, and as many folks complain about rent-a-wrecks, these glossy smoke shows can hang around as long as they want as far as I am concerned. I could hear this train working hard 3 to 4 miles after they passed across the calm countryside.

My beloved grew a couple of plants of chillis this year and the yield of hot but fiery chillis has been remarkable.
They are tiny but lethal ;o)

A day in Folkestone, to get a change of scenery. We'd just enjoyed moules frites for lunch when the tide receded enough to show the statue and get the shot.
Moules Frites Arabbiatta is great - all tomatoes, garlic and chilli
My chilli peppers are shrivelling up on the window sill. Been too out of action after my accident to sort them out. Still on the plants.
don't you wanna kiss my belly?

Hottest chilli pepper in the world was accidentally created by Welsh farmer.
Mike Smith, from Denbighshire, declared himself “chuffed” if a little “surprised” after scientists indicated that his Dragon’s Breath chilli had eclipsed the existing American record holder by a clear margin.
Originally intended to be a thing of beauty rather than a sensory beast, the peppers measure a formidable 2.48 million on the Scoville heat scale, ahead of the 2.2 million achieved by the Carolina Reaper.
Scientists from Nottingham Trent University, who believe oil from the chilli’s is so potent it could act as an alternative anaesthetic for those allergic to conventional drugs.
The Dragon’s Breath is so powerful that one drop of its capsaicin oil would be detectable in 2.48 million drops of water.
By contrast, US Army Pepper Spray, used to blind and disorientate assailants, measures only 2 million on the Scoville scale.
Mike has applied to Guinness World Records and is currently awaiting confirmation that the chilli is the world's hottest.
