Photo taken at the Streetfood Festival in Cologne. I like the intensive colours and the special background.
A foot-long chili cheese dog I had at the Sonic drive-in.

Chili Dog with Onions and cheese. Garnished with Mustard and Ketchup, onions, potato chips seved on a torn paper sack.
Chilli Dog
(Extremely Hot) * House Specialty
Ahhhhh... This was beyond bad - it was lousy and vile.
I have nothing to say about the mass produced hot dog - it was small, I guess? Onions were chopped, relish clearly came from an industrial size jar.
Now, the chilli - what were they thinking??? It was brown-crowned colored oily liquid with flat cayenne pepper taste. I don't even want to think about this concoction - easily the worst bite this year.

This old school house in Middle-of-Nowhere-Somewhere has been converted into a BP gas station, restaurant, and truck stop.
It's pretty awesome.
Sample of what you can find inside:
Home made chilidogs
Naked lady air fresheners
Pizza
Cow Tails
Emergency poncho
Fruit-flavored condom vending machine
Christian books on tape
WV made salsa in a jar
Cold beer
Gospel music CDs
Cashiers who call you "hon"
Basically, I love it. Good place to stop for a pee or a snack, when in the middle of nowhere. The ladies' room is always very nice. I hear the mens' room is a dump. But obviously, I've never been inside.
"to be at a NOFX concert"
it was like this;
Fat Mike asked this kid how old he was and he was 11
Fat Mike: What? You're too young to be at a NOFX show. Do you know what felching is?
El Hefe: Don't tell him that!
Fat Mike: No, no! You don't know what felching is? It's when a man jizzes in another man's asshole and then sucks it all out.
El Hefe: ...miike!
Fat Mike: Seriously, where are his parents? You? He's too young! You know what a chilidog is?
Eric: Don't-
Fat Mike: It's when a guy shits on a girl's chest and tittie fucks her. See, that's why you shouldn't be at a NOFX show.
A warm November evening - perfect night for a sunset patio dinner @ancasterdq. #saturdayadventures❤️ #chilidog #bizzard

Two Chili Dogs, with some Extra Chili on the side
Enjoyed at home on National Chili Dog Day.
These dogs featured Pearl Meat Packing All Beef Franks placed in Arnold Potato Buns and topped with Wendy’s Chili (sold in cans) with Cheddar Cheese and Diced Onions.
Winston-Salem is decorated with a bunch of dog statues right now. Not pugs, but they are cute anyway! This one is appropriately located by Skippy's, a wonderful hot dog joint.
There just happens to be a place that makes awesome chili dog's right acrosss the street from the Hippie Hostel. Coincidence?
The Varsity, at 51 North Avenue, was opened in 1928 by Frank Gordy. Originally named "The Yellow Jacket", The Varsity has grown into the world's largest drive-in restaurant, sitting on more than two acres and accommodating 600 cars and over eight hundred people inside. Over the years The Varsity has become synonymous with the blunt and abbreviated greeting "What'll ya have?" The Atlanta institution now features seven branches across metro Atlanta and Athens.
On days of Georgia Tech football games, the downtown Varsity can see up to 30,000 visitors. It sells more than two miles of hotdogs daily, a ton of onion rings, 2500 pounds of fresh cut potatoes, 5000 homemade fried pies, and 300 gallons of chili, all of which are made from scratch daily. It is also the world's largest single outlet for Coca-Cola.
The chili sauce is called Wimpy's, and is an Ogdensburg specialty (from a local establishment nearby, dating back to the early 20th century), apparently. It was good, but I'm not sure what differentiated it from any other chili dog meat sauce. Ah well. Good and cheap.

Ok , you been good all week your eating right or you just left the doctors office and your cholesterol level is under 200 your blood pressure is good but you just want a taste of some lip smacking greasy burger , Chili Cheese dog or chili cheese fries or a fat juicy artery-clogging pastrami sandwich. Then you gotta go to Capitol Burger on Pico 1 block west of Crenshaw. Their Pastrami sandwiches are at a reasonable price. Cheaper then Johnnie Pastrami and taste better.
