doing. read a posting that my bro-in-law (photographer) took her

photos so was inspired to do some simple google search and found this:

Photographed in Thakeham, down the lane where I grew up, it was so beautiful to re-visit my childhood memories, nothing has changed at all. :-)

I'm ready for my closeup, Mr. Demille.

Let the light of your childhood shine. Close your eyes so you can see,

what it must have been like to be, a little girl or boy who knows

Many many hours were spent in these trees.

Just as construction wrapped up and we were moving in back in 1976, here is a very young me standing on the dirt which would soon become our patio. Read more at unmarkedinterchange.wordpress.com/2011/08/17/end-of-an-er....

My dad used to work at a junkyard, and occasionally he would find interesting things in old cars and bring them to me. Once, it was this horse.

My grandparents had a collection of beautiful carved animals they got in Africa. I wasn't supposed to play with them, but I did, and one time, I broke one of the gazelle's horns off. My grandfather, rather than yell at me, let me keep it.

Both my father and grandfather are dead now, but I still have these.

childhood memory such a happy memory that will never be forget.

I want to say I am so thankful everyday, that god has granted me time to spend with my children on a daily basis. I wake up every mourning for all 3 of my babies. I am learning to "go slow". I was so caught up in the hustle and bustle of bigger and better and more.... Since my slowing down, I have realized I can take away all the fancy cars, the video games, the private lessons.... & they are richer on a daily basis because we have each other. We have our memories we are creating until the day they are grown and I am gone. I wish I could have realized this sooner...but I realize it now. Thank you god, for granting me that knowledge, before there was no time left.
