Beautiful display of the joy of childhood exhibited by an amazing sentient being in a slightly hairier form than our own. This picture was taken on a trip to the Phoenix Zoo in Arizona October 21, 2006.
When I think of childhood toys, the first thing that comes to mind is my favorite stuffed animal (the well worn, dirty, torn teddy bear). My grandfather gave this to me for my second Christmas. I don't remember that Christmas or him. He passed away within the following year, however, because of how he felt about me I love that teddy bear. The next thing I think of is puppies. This little guy is about a year and full of the energy of a child. I combined these two things because they remind me of childhood.
Jeff's childhood home 60 years after moving out. Fun to hear stories of how he snuck out of his 2nd story bedroom window when his parents thought he was upstairs. A tornado recently tore through this neighborhood destroying many of the homes. This one was spared.
