By the light of a new book lamp, my youngest son reads before bed. I love the simple and ordinary moments, such as these.
A group of young boys are playing and having fun on the bank of river Kaligonga at Manikganj, Bangladesh.
Dandelion clocks remind me of summers as a child... in the days before mobile phones and computer games... and there was nothing else to do but sit outside making daisy chains and blowing on dandelion clocks.
Not sure that my parents liked me spreading the seeds around, mind!

In einem Monat wird er schon elf Jahre alt.
Das Bild entstand heute Nachmittag im späten Sonnenlicht. Es ist nahezu unbearbeitet. Vielleicht sagt der eine oder andere - naja, ein Kinderfoto eben!
Mich berührt es. Nicht nur, weil der kleine "Große" mein Enkel ist, sondern auch, weil er mir immer wieder zeigt, dass es sich lohnt, nach vorn zu schauen, dass es Sinn macht, sich um das Wohl der Familie, der Stadt, des Landes, der Umwelt und des Planeten zu kümmern.
Er freut sich auf das "Morgen". Was in meiner Macht steht, will ich dazu leisten, dass er und alle anderen Kinder glücklich leben können.
