Childhood, O2 Academy, Leeds

At heart every man is a child, in varying degrees. And such images I am trying to convey that even in the most serious and adult child lives, who loves to play, have fun and enjoy life. Do not forget about it and you'll find that life becomes a bit easier and more fun ...

Just some experiments with my D40, long exposures, flash, and my cute niece Isabella.

Here are a few toys I have from my childhood. The bear on the left rates as my all time favorite, and he came along with me when I had my tonsils removed when I was four. The bear on the right squeaks if you poke his tummy. The wooden animals are from a set I enjoyed playing with when I was little.

that was when mom was leaving for the US, 12/8/1989. sad times..

I've always loved Pokemon and thought it might be fun to play around with the pokeball as a prop.

this was mine from when I was a weeeeee tot, it is faded, I love the tacky felt!

Eugene Field (1850-1895) famous for his "Wynken, Blynken and Nod" among many others. I once played Nod in a school play and got to fish from a huge cardboard shoe. I'm still waiting for my Broadway call.

"Childhood memories" Diganme quién no recuerda los clásicos juegos de video. La NES, el Nintento 64, Gameboys. Y cómo han ido evolucionando con el tiempo. El bodegón refleja muchas infancias resumidas a estas consolas y juegos de video, Me llena de orgullo y alegría haber formado parte de esta historia.

Me...I lived in the attick for a while!

This basket at Paradise Elementary School (California) was the sight of one of my most vivid childhood disappontments. It happened in 4th grade, when I entered a basketball shooting contest held by the Paradise Recreation District. I went first and sank 8/10 shots. I figured I was a shoe-in for the prize... until some kid hit 9/10 and stole the crown from me. I settled for a boring second place red ribbon.

The other great disappointment of my childhood was when I entered a contest to win an awesome Huffy motocross bicycle from Frosted Flakes. We had to draw Tony the Tiger, and I worked harder than I've ever worked before or since to create the PERFECT Tony the Tiger drawing. Okay, so it really wasn't very good - but by my standards, it was a MASTERPIECE! They were giving away 1,000 bikes so I figured I was a shoe-in. I could almost feel the jumps I would take on that bike already... and I waited day after day for my notification of victory... that never came. Oh, I still want that bike, dammit!!!
