Childhood ecstasy is the simple innocent smile that we see on a child's face when he/she is really happy. This doesn't require costly gadgets, but simple things like a tyre and a stick can keep him happy for days or even months. with a little sound to accompany...........Zoooooooo.
To dance and play like there is no tomorrow....

In childhood, we press our nose to the pane, looking out. In memories of childhood, we press our nose to the pane, looking in. ~Robert Brault
This toy was bought for me as a Christmas present in 1960. It is still in working order after 54 years and has the original box. My only remaining toy from my childhood. To me it is priceless.
Location : Hemel Hempstead,Hertfordshire,UK.
Recently I've been going through some of my old nick nacks and I happened upon my old top. When I was younger I used to have a whole collection of tops and my family and I would have spinning contests. Yes, actual spinning contests. Being about six or seven at the time I could play with tops for hours. (My family though got tired of the little wooden spinning devices quite quickly.)
Anyways, finding this top reminded me of a lot of forgotten childhood memories I had. Remember, remember...
What childhood toy left a great memory in your brain?

I caught these kids off guard with my first couple of shots but when they noticed me taking pictures the older girl gathered them all together. As you can see they all gave me their best smiles.....apart from the little boy on the left
At heart every man is a child, in varying degrees. And such images I am trying to convey that even in the most serious and adult child lives, who loves to play, have fun and enjoy life. Do not forget about it and you'll find that life becomes a bit easier and more fun ...
I sure want to have that mobile again. And the sheets too. (Me at very young age) and oh I like the color combination of white, pink and brown of the clothes. :)
i had a fast shutter speed to get a crisp image of the snow while my niece tossed it. i didn’t do much edit but i turned down the whites and highlights so it wasn’t as bright. i also turned up the vibrancy. this was taken at mill bay beach.
Check out the games and books. If you look carefully you can spot my 2XL and of course, my cookie-monster doll. Not to mention the chair which still sits at my desk today.
This photo is very nostalgic for me...I remember running towards the ice cream truck every time I heard it call with the infamous song 'do your ears hang low' ...*sigh*. That music still makes my legs jerk towards a run.
childhood is full of happiness. no other times of life is more colourful than childhood.
this picture was taken from Dhamrai'Dhaka during a mini tour arranged by Shudhui Bangla Photographic Society. Thanks to Tipu vai, Mahbubur rahman, Asif, Amit bhai and other people who were there.
