The third generation of the C/K series ran under the Chevrolet and GMC brands, model years 1973-91 as the longest production version of the CK, and second longest US pick truck behind the Dodge DW Series RAM. Adopting the Rounded Line moniker by General Motors the third generation C/K expanded its product range to a four-door crew cab pickup truck for the first time alongside the traditional two-door pickup and chassis cab trucks.
The Rounded Line trucks underwent a mid-cycle redesign for the 1981 model year. Largely in response to the 1979 energy crisis, GM engineers again turned to wind tunnels to further reduce areas that hindered air flow and caused drag. along with shedding nearly 300 pounds of curb weight from the model line. While design changes were largely evolutionary (to preserve sales of the highly profitable model line), the body of the C/K trucks was completely reshaped forward of the windshield the front fenders were reshaped to include a lowered hood line (relocating the side marker lights); the windshield wipers were now exposed. As part of the body facelift, the 1981 C/K pickup trucks received new grilles and redesigned front bumpers; Chevrolet grilles were split in the middle by a silver/black bar, with GMC grilles divided into ten squares. Square headlights became standard for the first time; base-trim trucks were fitted with two headlights and upper-trim trucks received four headlight

Clay County Sheriff’s office Deputy Ellen Juan cited a driver on NM 323 in Danny Flats area for no insurance and expired tags .
I really love building and designing the 8 stud wide Speed Champion cars, but they look way too big in my city. So I'm downsizing some of my favorites while trying to keep as much detail as possible. I really have had a lot of fun redesigning and building these models and I hope y'all do too!
This was a really fun one for me to design. This pack comes with individual instructions and parts lists for the Silverado, Camaro, and car trailer so you can build them in whatever order you want.

Blue’s cafe is located a block from Courthouse in Sparta, the county seat . He is using his unit as he grabbing some lunch for Court security and Civil Process Deputy Allen Clark and Lieutenant Dolly King
It is yet another warm evening on this Saturday Dec 4th,2021 . We see Bill Cabot Co-owner of Blue’s café talking with a man in the back alley behind the café about warm and dry weather along with the ongoing drought .

On Thursday June 15th 2023 at 2pm Boom Police Dept officers responded to 210 Main St ( Zack's Convenience store ) to report of an arm robbery in progress along with a person shot ,which resulted in an officer involved shooting that left one suspect dead and another injured along with one Boom Police officer shot .
Apache County Sheriff Hank Padilla told the Journal that State Police are investigating and more info we'll be released at a later date ,but noted the Boom Police Officer and a store clerk along with one suspect are recovering at Apache Regional Medical Center with non life threatening injuries the one suspect will booked into the county detention center once released He lastly noted that one of two officers involved in the shooting was Police Chief Stanley Chavez who along with unnamed officer are both on paid admin leave .
Boom Mayor Rick Gram told the Journal that Police dept Captain Lee Castillo has been appointed interim police chief for time being and the community is in shock as with only a population of 1,500 people they have never had problems like this ,but did note in the last few years drug and other related crimes have climbed.

Boom is in Western Part of Apache County NM in the Terreno llano Seco basin ( TLS basin ) and Terreno llano Seco means dry flat land in Spanish . Boom has a population of about 1,800.
It is named for the oil boom that started in the area back in the 1950s
Boom Police officer Jay Bosh is the other officer .
