I got a little sick of eating toast w/ jam even if the passionfruit butter I'd bought from the local markets is absolutely delicious; everything in moderation. So this weekend I flattened out the usual bread dough, sprinkled a layer of cheddar + mozzerella on top then rolled it back up into a loaf.

sauteed steak bashed with peppercorns for a fiery Finnish dressed with mixed leaves, capers, tomato. Melted cheese with cracked black pepper and a portobello mushroom to top things off.....just perfect for ash Wednesday....lol.

Found this chopping board and a knife with the word Cheese cut into it... might have to buy one :)

This is her new face when asked to smile for the camera. Has anyone seen that episode of Friends, where Monica and Chandler get an engagement photo taken for their announcement and he can't smile properly? Well in our house Bell is Chandler.

Things wot I Made Then Ate

Cheese Platter - gorgonzola dolce, montasio, bricco wine cheese, aged cheddar, bel paese, prosciutto on melon, strawberries, & grapes.

What could be better than fried corn, black beans , bell pepper, cherry tomatoes on top of a bed of spinach & your choice of lettuce then drizzled with ranch dressing & topped with shredded cheddar cheese! This is a cold salad. Add a glass of wine & WOW!

I visited Shatto Milk Co. and picked up a variety of their new cheeses.

"Cheese, Gromit!" Went to Zingerman's for lunch. Very cool place. The mountain of cheese was pretty awesome. And they carry Zapp's chips, which I've only been able to get in New Orleans until now.
