Again, not going to photograph everything today. Buy here is the running tally:

- Donut with pink and chocolate icing
- Thai Tomato Bisque and Grilled Cheese with Dungeness Crab (I got a photo of this one, here).

- Roast Garlic and Gorgonzola Ravioli
with Bacon and more Garlic
- Red Wine
In a perfect world, we'd come up with an awesome design and freehand carve that bad boy into the pumpkin using old dull steak knives. This is not a perfect world. We bought a kit. We traced a design onto the pumpkin. We connected the dots with sharp tools.
Karisa is very kind to allow me to steal her art for my own purposes (even though she is getting the bowl). John is kind for suggesting it.
anyway, yes, I cheat. carbon paper is awesome. it doesn't have to be a secret anymore.

I don't always use carbon paper. other than this, I used it for the Obama bowl and the fiddle bowl. (soothes ego) the swirly stuff is all freehand.
Cheating is the reality that every college faces. Especially with the increase of technology, students have gotten creative in discovering a number of ways to cheat on tests, essays, assignments, and even college applications. But why do students feel the need to cheat?
Cheating a bit by taking the train up the hill. It was great though, and worth the CHF7 (mit bikes). We'd already cycled a lot of big hills that day and had a big ride planned for the next day, so it seemed the sensible thing to do.
Jack bought a macbookpro as a temporary means of getting his stuff done while his ginormous imac was getting fixed (twice!) for a broken graphics card. Now that it's fixed, guess who has a macbookpro! Which means i can video chat, but DUCEANI is never on or never answers my phone call... wierdo.
We've been becoming extremely lazy lately. I don't know when was the last time we actually cooked for dinner was (takeout! yum!) and we've been going to sleep incredibly late and waking up at ....11.....12....? Not great when he's got class at 9 and i have class at 7 or 11.
So today i figure out what to do, where to catch up whilst jack plays greenday songs. nice.
