Turns out you can cover some of the route by Docklands Light Railway (remember to touch your Oyster card in AND out). Didn't see any runners doing this, though, actually. We had dithered a bit and only left ourselves time to make one more rendez-vous, so moved to Westminster Palace where we did manage to see my Dad, but not my sister, El.

This one's a bit of a cheat really - I first uploaded it back in May.

I've got nothing new, because recently my "photography time" has been focussed on pulling together images for my first solo exhibition... It will be in a local cafe - the Flying Goose if you happen to be in Beeston and fancy having a look. My pictures should be up in December, although you can get a sneak preview here.

This one didn't make it into the exhibition, but as I was making my selection, someone pointed out the sinister looking face in the waterfall - so I thought I'd make it my new icon...

Ron cheated a little to get this shot, by turning the blossom up and propping it up gainst another flower. This is a patch of Lenten Rose along our back fence. It has been coming up and blooming for many years. There is more color in the blossoms this year than most years.
