I cheated by using a Lee #4 hard grad coral filter to warm the sky a little.

A couple of weeks back I posted a cheat shot of a Jacaranda from October last year (I did own up!) to celebrate the coming of Jacaranda season. Well today, we were back down in the same Shorncliffe area that has, like much of Brisbane right now rather spectacular examples widely spread around the suburbs. The car will soon be covered with Jacaranda confetti and gives good perspective on just how big and colourful these trees become. Add in a couple of classic Queenslander homes and the picture is complete.

Happy Bench Monday! This restful bench sits by the shore of Cheat Lake in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Haha, this photo cracks me up. Don't feel too sorry for her. I asked her to give me a serious face and instead she pouted on purpose. In the next frame, she's laughing and saying, "Haha, I cheated you!" meaning she tricked me. It was pretty funny. But looking at this pict, it's hard for me to feel cheated, lol! Though she is a surprisingly good little actress.
Editing here is my soft color pop made a little vintage and then a texture added from my worn set.
Changing our clocks forward by 1 hour probably seemed like a good idea many years ago. Times have changed for sure but I question whether it is still as relevant today. All I know is we pay a price in the morning.
My coffee is required to be an extra large to help compensate for this hour difference,
Even as the smoke clears and adjustments are made, I still feel cheated by time!
Went out with Buggs, Shadowbomb, mad-eye p!e, mhsneon, Kevin Eddy, and a few others (bad me, didn't get your names I think Mike Spieth was one) to some badlands 15 miles northwest of Rio Rancho. It was awesome, thanks for showing us Buggs!
The majority of the time I was there the light was... blah due to the storm clouds. So I pulled out my flash and attempted to illuminate this hoo-doo with a CTO gel on my flash and camera set to tungsten. The effect was cool, but the bluish cast on the landscape behind the hoo-doo out of range of my flash just didn't look right so I 'fixed' it in photoshop.
