This is one lone frame in the Cheaters Uncensored Vol. 1 disc. It reads "Eat My Ass", and it isn't like a subtitle or anything. I think some bored disgruntled editor made a fashion statement while this truck stop hooker was getting pummeled by some old black trucker. Life is so good sometimes.
When I was painting from a photograph, I used to draw the composition on the painting surface as best I could to try and get the perspective and proportions right. That was until Pam bought me a digital projector one Christmas.
Now, I connect the projector to my iPad and use that to make an accurate drawing ready for painting. Some may say it is cheating but is it?
David Hockney postulates in his book, "Secrets of the Old Masters" that artists going back to the 14th century made use of lenses and mirrors to create accurate drawings. Not all of course but many did and the evidence for his argument is entirely convincing.
Where an artist has drawn without such aids, there is usually evidence of a searching to get the form right. In drawings using optical devices, there is no such evidence.
(Coffee time) A sad old queen is sitting in the balcony and thinking. She is indignant and angry for herself when her husband king of the cloud cheated on her. She knows that the king is making love with a beautiful young princess now. The princess is from other land, she is cute, sweet, and young. The old Queen tells these to her self. Queen’s heart is full of anger and tears there is no more room for love…
My lovely red cheater cyclocross bike. Frame is a Bianchi Rita (29er hardtail) rigged with a Shimano Alfine 8-speed gearhub and cable-actuated discs. The purpose is to create a mud-proof cyclocross racer. More details at the associated blog post.

... except to say the title refers to the seminal song of the same name by Chris Isaak.
So now it's been guessed the location here is the defunct service station on Clerkenwell road which I'm sure as soon as the economy picks up will be demolished to become more chi chi flats... as the location where I took this from is right next to the extremely chi chi Zettter dahling.
The building opposite always intrigues me but I can't find any information on it other than it's split into a lot of offices. I looks like it must have been quite a large office at some stage but which company is a mystery.
I'm still digging away so any information is greatly appreciate - I'll update later and in the meantime leave you to....
