LEGO Sculpture took me +/- 50 hours over the course of 3 weeks. Charmander is 61cm tall, comprised of +/-6000 bricks and weighs 9kg ( slightly overweight according to bulbapedia). Plates were used in the tail and feet/legs, rest is almost exclusively bricks. Teeth are so-called "fez cones" :-) Enjoy, more of my creations can also be found on facebook

Charmander es uno de los tres pokémon iniciales de Pueblo Paleta. Es un pokemon de carácter fuerte. Posee una llama en el extremo de su cola, esta arde según sus sentimientos; llamea levemente cuando esta alegre y arde vigorosamente cuando está enfadado. Cuando llueve, sale vapor de su cola, si esta llama se apaga, puede que Charmander jamás vuelva a luchar (hay teorías que vinculan la extinción de esta flama a su muerte). Es difícil de entrenar incluso para entrenadores con experiencia.
El nombre “Charmander” es un acrónimo de char (quemar) y salamandra (un pequeño anfibio parecido a una lagartija tradicionalmente asociado al fuego). Su nombre japonés, Hitokage, es una combinación de las palabras japonesas para fuego (火, hi?) y salamandra (蜥蜴, tokage?).
Charmander fue uno de los personajes principales en los primeros episodios de la serie animada, como uno de los Pokémon principales de Ash Ketchum.La revista Time Magazine una vez describió a Charmander como “uno de los tres Pokémon más populares”, al igual que los otros dos Pokémon iniciales Bulbasaur y Squirtle.

Thank you, thank you for the Explores. :) I'm trying to be a good contact and comment on every single one who commented on my two previous photos. Yes: Every. Single. One. And definitely the people who added me too. So this might take some time as I enjoy browsing through photostreams and leaving sentences of comments.
