- "Look mom, it's charmander"
- "Wow, it's charizard"
That was the reaction of the kids who saw this mosaic :(
These winter holidays I've been playing the Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Silver. There's nothing like the first generation of Pokemon, I love them.
In this cartridge I'm coaching a team with Mewtwo, Jolteon, Tauros, Pikachu, Starmie and Articuno.
THIS IS IT, the week I'm releasing the collection so if there is something you want, now is the time to let me know. :)
.
Bandai came out with several different packages of refills for their candy dispensers that are much like Pez (only more interactive actually since the characters bend down and fetch a pokeball shaped disc then "hand" it to the eater which apparently makes it taste better).
Of course to keep everyone buying the packages there were several different card premiums needed to fulfill a collection (detailed a bit on the back here).
Lemon, Melon, Orange, 24 seal cards
24 more seals 48 total peach, ramune, lemon/lime soda
A couple pictures of the package along with one of the Snorlax dispensers are previous in my stream with some of the others elsewhere.
Other Pez Types here.
More Pokémon here.
Additional Candilicious FUN here.

All these (and more) need new homes as I'm going to a different country for an extended stay soon so send me a Flickr Mail message (access through the arrow that appears near my profile photo when mousing over it, or click on the little tan envelope that appears on my profile page) if interested.

And shortly after taking this screenshot, a Hitmonchan showed up, but by that time all my pokéballs were gone, spent (mostly wasted) on trying to collect up some of this mob. 😤
I did get the two Charmanders, at least.
I saw a picture of Easter Eggs that were painted like Pokemon, so I got inspired to try the same. I am really happy with how they came out. Only now I don't want to eat them. :(
My first explore!
this is my lego moc based around the Pokémon center from the Pokémon games. this is based on different incarnations of the building and combining them into one. this set includes 3 Pokémon (Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur), the pokécenter with interior features like a Pokéball shop, table with 4 seats, a full medical care floor, etc. it also features some natural structures like trees. you also get 2 pieces of grass to simulate a wild battle with a pokémon.
The first generation of starter Pokemon from the Pokemon series.
Each starter piece is made from Sculpey and hand painted. The base stand is from Minifig World.

So in honor of my second favorite video game franchise's 20th anniversary today, I decided to do a top ten of every generation of Pokémon there is! Now this generation was probably the hardest to make a top ten of because it's my favorite one! So before I get to my ten, here are some honorable mentions:
Haunter
Poliwhirl
Hitmonchan
Bulbasaur
1. Mewtwo
2. Charizard
3. Abra
4. Slowbro
5. Charmander
6. Squirtle
7. Slowpoke
8. Gengar
9. Scyther
10. Nidoking
Now what are your favorite of this generation? Leave me your top tens in the comments below! Happy Pokémon Day everyone!!!

Ladislav Kaňka made this cool Charmander with my origami pixels. No cuts, no glue, no tape. Just folded paper squares of 3x3 cm.

If you want to make yours, it's quite easy to do.

Megabloks' Pokémon bricks work great as 'toy boxes' for the Lego city's Toys"R"Us store's new stock.
Not what I usually upload, but I thought my photostream was in need of some color.
This is a close-up of part of my bookshelf. I have decorated my book collection with various small things, such as these plastic Pokémon figures.

this is a recreation of how a classic pokémon fight would look like. everything in this picture can be found in my lego Pokémon center set (moc), except for the minifigure. this is an example of one of the many battles you can create with your imagination.
Miu and Chiika are entering.
Koron: "Hi, girls. It's Flipper's bath time now, so if you are going to cafe today, I will be late."
Miu: "Oh, Koron, good job, I must say. You are showing true responsibility as a pokemon trainer."
Chiika: "Flipper sure enjoyes the bath, so nice."
Koron: "Of course, a good trainer should know everything about pokemon. I'm going to become a champion one day, so yes, I already learned a lot of things, that pokemon really do like."
Chiika: "Wow..."
