Small changes eventually add up to huge results ♥

If nothing ever changed, we'd not have frogs, toads, or butterfly things...

I'm adding this picture of the Amber Fort in Jaipur as World Elephant Day is tomorrow. It was my next stop after Ranthambore Park as well. This trip encompassed so many varied destinations. It was a difficult, but an outstanding itinerary.

There are demonstrations occurring in the city as the day grows near. I will let you read the article.

I first saw elephants in Asia where they are used as working beats of burden. It seemed so common place I gave the practice little thought until I went to Africa and saw the gentle giants in the wild. My thoughts changed and it is nice to see that the Indian people are demanding change

The Evzones (Greek: Εύζωνες), is the name of several historical elite light infantry and mountain units of the Greek Army.

Today, it refers to the members of the Presidential Guard, an elite ceremonial unit that guards the Greek Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Presidential Mansion and the gate of Evzones camp in Athens. The Evzones are also known, colloquially, as Tsoliades.

I could not resist posting another image of the Nankeen Kestrel (Falco cenchroides) because of the different canvas I was able to capture the bird flying along the beach.

♥ Thank you very much for your visits, faves, and kind comments ♥

For the first time in 8 years, I find myself in red (hair). This means that all of my current profile pictures are entirely out of date - cause enough for some editing. I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out!

This was spotted in downtown Springfield, MO, on an appliance store. It caught my fancy...

My first job is to say thank you to those who voted for me.

Those who didn't, I'm going to get your vote next time.

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution

Take a bow for the new revolution

Smile and grin at the change all around me

Pick up my guitar and play

Just like yesterday

Then I'll get on my knees and pray

We don't get fooled again

Don't get fooled again

No, no!

60061 ‘Alexander Graham Bell’ approaches Widnes on the low-level line between Warrington and Ditton. The area to the right of the train is Widnes West Deviation Yard (Hutchinson Street) which was last used in the mid 1980s.

The origin of the train is clearly visible on the horizon: on this late summer day Fiddlers Ferry power station appears to have only two of its four 500MW generating sets operating. The train is likely to be 7P78, the 1230 from Fiddlers Ferry returning to the Liverpool bulk handling terminal.

On the far right of the image is Albright and Wilson’s Ann Street works, which made products based upon phosphoric acid. At the time of this photograph, the works produced both phosphates for the food industry and Calgon, the water-softening product. The works closed in 2013 and the site subsequently cleared.

As seasons change we see too the brilliance isn’t quite what we’ve witnessed in months past. Nevertheless it doesn’t takeaway the beauty or our appreciation for these Roses. Enjoy you garden daily until the frost strikes. It’s all worth it. Thanks for viewing my work. Gratitude and Kindness will remain long after the gardens have been turned.

The panorama of Ilyinskoe village from the bridge of Belaya Kholunitsa river. I haven't been here for a long time. Now I see some new buildings on the high river bank, but the church remains abandoned. Changing weather of this June complements the scene well.

Thank you for all the comments and favs, my friends.

Here in Colorado Springs we get all the 4 seasons, sometimes all in one day! Two days ago it snowed and temps were in the single digits. Today it was sunny and in the 50's.

I'm thinking about a sea-change....anyone got any ideas? Definitely worthy viewing large!

As a pilot I came to have a strong dislike for fog. Living in a coastal city I’ve had so many flights grounded because of dense fog at the airport. We would sit and wait for even a slight break so we could get on our way. Minutes became hours as we waited for the blanket of grey to lift. On the other hand, as a photographer, I love fog! It can give a scene a sense of mystery or in this case it has an amazing way of softening an otherwise normal scene, giving it an appearance like a pastel painting.

Avoid the annoyance, maintain social distancing. This Canada Goose wasn't too happy when the Osprey ventured too close after catching a fish from the pond. This is the sort of muttering others may make if you happen to come too close during your outdoor walk.

The flower's colors change as the temperature falling

One of my favorite features of Fall colors is constant change - at least until all the leaves are down. In this particular spot, it was mostly orange, which, despite the overcast sky, gave the scene a lovely warm light.

A slight change of perspective from the epic Grand Canyon to some humble stepping stones that cross the River Warfe at Hebden. With all the rain we have had these stones will be well under water at the moment along with a lot of North Yorkshire
