Students Serving their Community: Ginghamsburg teens will be participating in two “Change the World” initiatives on April 24. In partnership with Catholic Social Services and its Youth Service Day, students in grades 9-12 will go on mission in Dayton to serve at a local soup kitchen for the homeless and hungry called Target Dayton. Saturday night, Ginghamsburg teens will spend the chilly April night out on the Ginghamsburg Main Campus lawn under mosquito nets to raise awareness for World Malaria Day.

During IHE's Summer Institute, each student gives a 20-minute presentation on a humane education topic or issue. Dustin had students try out several short group activities that are great for helping their students connect, relax, and engage.

As long as there are those who wag the dog and wave the imperialist flag, we will instead raise a cry for solidarity. #NoWar #Syria #Yemen #Palestine

The Daily Good Morning (To Laugh That We May Not Weep)

Thinking on our post from Saturday, it seemed a bit of a modification was asking to be made...Art Young's "Last Appeal"...now with colors...

If any of you can 100% identify that either of the attached photos were taken at TRAVCO we can use them courtesy of The Country Music Hall of Fame.

(Thinking that you might recognize the wall tiles or something.)

"Don't waste your valuable time with people who aren't adding to your growth." 👏 I just had a very enjoyable conversation this afternoon with my friend @phaero about how we as a society are conditioned to view this concept as judgmental and selfish, and how the word selfish has a negative connotation. I believe it is our obligation to ourselves and to society to surround ourselves only with those who inspire us to constantly grow and serve our deeper purpose; with only those who empower us to let our true selves shine; and only those who we in turn inspire to do the same. THIS is when the magic happens. THIS is when, by being a little "selfish" and taking care of ourselves, we are empowered to positively impact the world. THIS is when the world starts changing for the better. So evaluate who you surround yourself with. And remember, like attracts like, so when you let your true self shine those like-minded individuals will naturally be drawn to you and suddenly... everything starts going right. 💛 #TeamBabyFace #BabyFaceFoundation #LawOfAttraction #PositiveQuotes #SuccessQuotes #MotivationalQuotes #Shine #ChooseHappiness #SelfLove #SelfValue #SelfWorth #NeverGiveUp #ChangeTheWorld - babyfacemma

Students end the week-long Summer Institute with a ritual to help memorialize all they've learned and gained and will take home with them.

Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton?

Why do so many people love Hillary Clinton?

So, why do so many people love Hillary Clinton?

Hillary “beat” Bernie Sanders in 2016 & then went on to lose to an imbecilic moron like Trump. She ran an ‘old school’ corporate Democratic race against a (completely fake) populist like trump. Seeing as how Americans were growing tired of the typical corporate politician, the Clinton people should have gone with Bernie & we probably would have won.

I (along with many others) believe Bernie had a WAY better chance of beating trump than she did. But the mainstream media & most of the Democratic party just knew she couldn’t lose. No way trump could win.

Guess what? We were right & because of Hillary’s ego we got four years of complete madness.

So, forgive me if I am not on the Hillary bandwagon.

And, before all of you feminists start yelling “misogynist”, just know I would love to have more women in power. Men, I believe, have screwed us enough. Let a woman steer the ship.

But, why Hillary? There are many strong women, who are not rich corporatists like the Clintons. What about Katie Porter? How about; AOC, Ayanna Pressley, Ana Kasparian? There are many better choices than a Corporate Democrat.

Is it time for a woman president? Absolutely. Just not Hillary.

Also, in case you forgot, here are some of her accomplishments.

- (2001) She was for the war in Afghanistan.

- (2002) Voted for the war in Iraq.

- (2008)
