I was looking through my photos from this summer and I came upon this shot of a Canada Goose swimming through a reflection that almost gave it winter vibes. It reminded me that even though summer is over, there will be lots of new opportunities to photograph this winter!

The changing leaves of autumn colored brightly red and gold,

Also bring a warning of the coming winter cold.

As the wind is changing from the milder summer breeze,

You can feel the difference as it echoes through the trees.

As I shuffle down the path leading through the park,

As the days grow shorter now and soon it will be dark.

I realize that life is like the seasons we live through,

Life is like the changing seasons always changing too.

I went to the lake across the road from my sister-in-law's house to take some photos of the ducks and geese yesterday morning. There weren't too many of them around, but there were other things that caught my eye, so it was still a worthwhile trip. Most of the trees around here whose leaves are starting to change color are starting with just a few leaves here and there. I was surprised at how many have already turned red on this one. Unfortunately, the photo doesn't do it justice.

I'm waaay behind with commenting. I'll try to make it around to as many 'streams as possible today and this weekend.

Before the change in weather on Thursday night. It was 36 on Thursday, then 24 on Friday.

A changing sky this morning at Dingieshowe beach, Orkney.

A great reflection on the wet sand...

D1062 'Western Courier' is on the centre road at Bristol Temple Meads on 2 March 1974. The actual working is not recorded, although 1A45 suggests Penzance to Paddington; did it come this way?

D1062 was withdrawn less than six months later at a mere 11 years old, but was later to become the first of the class to be preserved and is currently active on the Severn Valley Railway.

Another throwback to Feb 2009. it was a crisp day. Love those type of days. Summers here are unbearable, if your want to be outside... dressed.

Today a small blanket called the Change of seasons as a sign of support on your journey to create new habits for our new reality, so that you will experience the sun in your face and the wind in your back again.

always looking for something a little different to what I normally post so a different pose makes a change all be it only a slight change.

I had a lovely night out wearing this dress once again, Its such a fab frock to dance around in. The new hair needs to settle in a bit give a few weeks of abuse and it will look as natural as can be.

I wanted to put up something autumn/fall related despite the fact that no trees near me actually turn different colors. The leaves change fro green, to burnt orange, to brown and then fall off so I am jealous of everyone that lives in a place where you can see the season's change! This is simple photo because my life has been pretty hectic with school and soccer so I've had to put photography on the back-burner. Though I have been taking a few senior photo-shoots lately and you can see those on my facebook page.

All the elements came together for this photo. But even now in mid-April the landscape is changing almost before my eyes. The green peach fuzz evident on the background tree represents the first signs of budding and leafing. I'm thrilled by the rebirth of vegetation after the long darkness of winter. However I'm always torn as the starkness of bare tree limbs gradually fades away. I love spring and summer and warmth and light. But I also love the atmosphere created by the bleakness of fall and winter. It's really the cornerstone of my photographic passion.

Rather than bore you with a thousand and one posts of this outfit i thought i would do this instead to show how an outfit can be changed just by adding or removing a few items.

Looks a lot better without the coat I think. My poor old cardigan is in need of a repair it looks to have been attacked by a moth on the sleeve leaving a little hole. I should be able to repair it i think.

it's very cold outside. it's also windy, yet i refuse to admit winter is coming.

the majority of my forehead is over exposed, but either way, it's one of the better ones from today.

and you should definately see the original size. it looks better. *hint hint*

Another poster supporting action on Climate Change. It is amazing how our government leaders seem to live in a bubble of denial.

The Main Terrace at Mammoth Hot Springs provides an ideal representation of the Earth’s powerful forces at work. The landscape surrounding the Main Terrace is in a constant state of change as new springs boil to the surface and older ones become inactive. We have visited this very spot at least three different times, and it has never looked the same.

Have a great Tuesday....and as always, thanks for stopping by to visit :-)

And live my life ,

And have friends around .

We never learn, do we ?
