Note to self: Before embarking on that lucrative lumberjack career, get a bigger chainsaw than a 16" electric and a more helpful dog than a power-lounging Golden.

More of these artworks can be seen during a very worthwhile visit to the Cairn O'Mohr Winery, just minutes off the A90 between Perth and Dundee.

Unique to the Pacific Northwest (and mostly the hickish areas of it), chainsaw carving is an incredibly intricate and amazing form of artwork. This man was creating something at the Puyallup Spring Fair. In the foreground you can see a partially-done dragon. The pieces on display were amazing. I can't believe how much detail and expression they can get from their pieces using something as unwieldy and heavy as a big loud chainsaw...

Lollipop Chainsaw is the 'un-deadly' story of sweet and killer zombie hunter Juliet Starling and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak. With her wickedly awesome chainsaw in hand, Juliet slices, dices and splits her way through hordes of the undead, but soon realizes the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill the chainsaw wielding cheerleader.
