Eternamente tuya. Tu compañera y mujer, alumna, y fan indiscutible.

Tu chica chaînés.

Testing my old "made-in-USSR" Helios 58mm f2.0 M42 manual lens. Focus is on the centre chain link. Picture cropped slightly.

Camera: Sony A200

Focal length: 50 or 58mm *

Shutter speed: 1/1000 sec

Aperture: f1.7 or f2.0 **

ISO: 100

* The lens has "58/2" printed on it, which I assumed to mean focal length of 58mm and fixed aperture of f2.0. But the EXIF data records the focal length as 50mm. I dont know which is right?

** The EXIF data shows f1.7 but I'm pretty sure the maximum aperture is f2.0 for this lens. I shot this in manual mode with the aperture open wide. The LCD display shows f1.7 (and this cannot be changed). Again, I don't know?!

Anyway, I'm loving this lens!

I saw this chain hanging on a bike rack between UC and Lawson Hall and initially thought it was there to secure the rack to the ground. Turns out there is a padlock (attached below the frame) leading me to believe someone uses this beast to lock up their bike - very Pee Wee's Big Adventure!

Western has bike racks awaiting cyclist all over campus. Come on, be the "chainge" (nyuk nyuk) and do something good for your body and our air quality.

Chains made for an easy climb up to the trailhead in the trucks. This time of year, chains make all the difference for easy access!

Do you see a story? Tell me if you do.

Faceted teardrop shaped garnet stones hang from 2 differing lengths of chain. Simple, classic design that won't go 'out of style' The garnet stones are a beautiful deep burgundy and they are faceted. Good quality stones that have not been dyed.
