Der Chor CREATONES hat seine Wurzeln in Lwiw, in der Ukraine. Nach der Flucht der Dirigentin Anastasia Shchyrba 2023 in die Schweiz begann eine neue kreative Arbeit, in völlig neuer Besetzung. Inzwischen sind auch einige Schweizer Sänger dabei und weitere sind herzlich willkommen. Derzeit liegt der Fokus auf Sakralmusik der ukrainischen Tradition. Das Konzert in der Kirche St. Anton war die Premiere eines Programms zum musikalischen Gedenken an die Kinder, die im Krieg gefallenen sind. Weitere Aufführungen finden in Winterthur (27. 10. Kirche Peter und Paul 20 Uhr) und in der Klosterkirche Einsiedeln statt (29. 10. 19 Uhr).

I've seen Blackhawks over the house several time, but this is the first time I've seen a Chinook. I couldn't get outside fast enough on any of the three passes today to get a closer picture.

I spent quite a while talking with this boy on top of Phnom Bahkeng. After trying to get money through a scripted story about how his bicycle was broken and he couldn't get to school, I had some fun chatting with him, learning about his family, where he lived (Reda -- Koktanort village), and getting his phone number, and having him scribble in my notebook. Unfortunately, he never gave me his name...

Like most of the kids I talked to, I quietly asked him if he was being watched (he subtley motioned he was). It turned out that the actual temple guards were the ones watching him and seeing if he collected any money from tourists.
