Grandpa Genovese's citizenship papers. The document is dated 1927, five years after his arrival in the U.S.
The Certificate in Local History, run by the National University of Ireland Maynooth, will be offered at Dublin City Library & Archive beginning this autumn. The course runs from mid September 2010 to end April 2011 and the tutor is Dr. Seamas O Maitiu. Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings, from 17.30-20.00. Closing date for applications is: Tuesday 31 August 2010.

My dentist said he wanted to give me a first place award for best teeth, but since i had a cavity I got runner up ;) (He's funny.)
Oh yeah, I had a cavity. He found it in my x-ray and after cleaning my teeth, filled the cavity it with...CEMENT. Or whatever. It's my first cavity in my adult teeth. I forgot about the BURNING SMELL of teeth being drilled away. The cavity is on my right top molar...one of em. It's not surprising at all; I floss there the most (yes, I do floss every day) since crap always gets stuck in there. And I got a cavity anyway. JOY!
