Bangunan kuno di Semarang, karena jumlah pintunya sangat banyak, maka disebut Lawang sewu (pintu seribu)

According to a local myth, the temple is guard by Kyai Jagal, whose appearance is that of a tall man with long hair. It protects the site from destruction. During the Japanese occupation the villagers went to stay at the site regularly to put themselves under the guardian's protection.
Kyai Jagal is so much respected that stories of a gold mass the size of a calf within the well has never been proved.

Hotel Amaris and Griya Bina Artha, has different architectural styling. The former has been influenced by hotel owner's fully embedded "architectural brand", while latter is based on merit.

The picture was taken from the plane window seat in Central Java ca. 9K m (ca. 30K ft) asl en-route JOG-KUL flight path. Mount Sumbing, having a height of about 3340 m asl. Located in the east side of the city of Winosobo. The only report of historical eruptions is from 1730. It has created a small phreatic crater at the summit.
