I watched the news clips on the meteor hitting Russia yesterday and it got me thinking about all the things that exist in space. And then my mind started wandering and settled on this photo idea.

Mount Hood - Hidden in plain sight. I try my best to create non typical shots from Trillium Lake, I think that this one counts. The sky is so busy that it almost overpowers the mountain.
I worked all day yesterday and so I think that I should take today off. The weather is fine here in Oregon so Sadie, Betty and I are going to go for a walk. Have a great day everyone.

Northen lights over the Reykjanes peninsula, Iceland. The Ursa Major or Great Bear is also visible following the beam light of the lantern.
A quiet hush persisted on this frigid, overcast winter evening. The howling wind seemed to pause in anticipation as I peered up at the sky. My first impression was that a piercing, haunting eye stared down at me — its veins bulglng across its iris. While the visual left me with an eerie feeling it was surprisingly compelling as the branches framed the night’s full moon.
