This silly sign is on the front door of the building where I work.

[An overgrown road in Pripryat, 3km from Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor] Twenty two years ago this was one of the main roads in the Nuclear City of Pripyat which had a population of 50 000. Sadly for the citizens of this new Soviet city, after Chernobyl Reactor Number 4 went into Nuclear meltdown they had to evacuate their homes in just 3 hours. Now, instead of the sound of children playing, only the gentle sound of contaminated nature slowly taking over this Ghost Town. What looks like dense woodland is actually the centre of a once thriving city. Caution! Children Crossing...

The heat around here is incredible. The only things to see are road signs for mile after mile, but nothing else.

Drove to Michigan today with Jonathan Robson to shoot three lighthouses. Weather turned out to be better than expected. All in all a great day and much fun. This shot is from St. Joseph, our last stop.

My Entire Photostream

I'm pretty sure all I done to this was some cropping. But somehow, the orange is very strong and I think I need sunglasses to look at it 8-)

I think this shot could have been done better. Although it does have an abstract quality to it. I'm undecided with it at the moment.

View On Black is a must on this one.

Taken by Erik as we zoomed back home to Cincinnati.

YHA Patterdale. No Zebras or Pelicans but I did see Red Squirrels crossing. High up in the branches safe from harm and, much to my delight, they crossed into the garden every day.

Caution - do not have a conversation while wearing funny hats?
