Avoid injury, watch your step.

The sign says:

CAUTION

Dangerous Surf

Unstable Bluff Edge

Yes, these are mannequins... Taken on Venice Beach.

One single exposure, with multiple flashes thanks to hamwithcam!

What a great idea. How I decided to stage punching myself? Must have been the acid.

So this is the (boring) story on how I came to take this photo: on the way home, I was admiring how the setting sun was just washing the whole neighborhood in this beautiful gold glow. Our house is tucked away from that, which is nice in the summer as the front stays shaded, but we don't get to enjoy the sunset. Anyway I even slowed down to just admire all the houses as I drove home and how BEAUTIFUL everything looked...even the field down the street where they have been saying they will build a park for over 2 years and nada, just full of prairie dogs (cute) and coyotes (getting way too bold and attacking humans, eek!).

In the 3 minutes or so it took to pull into the garage, run inside, throw my purse down, grab my camera, and run back here it was gone :-( But I was already standing out here with the camera...I had no ideas for a YIP today...and my night shall hopefully be consumed with RB2 inbetween laundry...so I shot this. I was amused at how long this tape has held up. Dave took a photo of it as a 365 extra in his first week of Year 1 of 365.

As you can see, this caution tape has been up for over 2 1/2 years...I think they finally need to build that park, don't you? :-)

The up Illawarra line, looking from Redfern station towards Sydney central, which is less than a mile away. The signals are spaced close here, this signal displays caution, just down the line the next signal displays low speed, and you might just make out fhe following signal, which is at stop. There are 12 tracks through Redfern, 10 on the surface and another 2 underground.

I take the train whenever I can, actually I prefer it a lot more to driving but the incomplete network/train lines hinder that most times. To me, trains are ingenious - no traffic, ability to move lots of people at one time & often, very comfortable & convenient. It is also often my preferred mode of transport when I travel.

If we don't do what we need to do to stop this runaway effect that is climate change, soon there'd be no home - for both us & our future generations.

I don't know when Caltrans took down the signs, but I remember these roadsigns vividly from my childhood driving between San Diego and Los Angeles. I'll be planting this one as a letterbox before I leave CA.

Caution - warning - man flu

Following a CAUTION truck in St.Louis, on a bridge, over the Mississippi...

The Babel Fish, now at Yahoo instead of Alta Vista, translates the English text into Spanish as "Precaución Serpientes De Cascabel," and the Spanish text into English as "Well-Taken Care Of Viper Of Bell." I love machine translation!

This lad coming towards me with his front wheel in the air bought back memories of my son was he was about 12. I was driving down a very busy dual carriage and I saw him on the other side of the carriageway, front wheel high in the air, dodging between the cars. He didn't get to ride that bike again for a month.

In case the pile of scraps and dead end weren't a clue...

They just pop outta no where and run ya down. Gotta be careful!

Upper quadrant signal at "caution" (expect next signal at stop).

Night indication: green light over red light.

Estampa para t-shirt - Woxi

in english we call it awas...but in malay it is usually called caution

State Street, Chicago, January 2014. There wasn't much actual falling ice on this day, just lots of signs.

This is the scene inside the abandoned Shell Info Centre located at 334 Highway 401 Eastbound in Mississauga Ontario. Closed down at 10am on September 29th 2006, vandals have taken to the building destroying virtually everything.

Be careful. There be Alligators in these waters.

Messing around, I'm not going to lie :P

It looks like its glow in the dark but I took this in complete daylight.

Another great caution sign...
