Someone along Monticello Drive is evidently upset about the dog shit
in front of their home and have erected the 2 'caution' signs in the
attached photo. I took the pic this morning.
If you care to check them out in person, they're in the 600 block of
Monticello; the 2nd block north of 7th street.

Tonight I ate dinner at a mall before seeing Frans Lanting speak at the Annenberg Space for Photography, which was amazing! I didn't realize most of the mall was under construction. These posts appear to be holding up what's left of the parking garage.
Caution - Families running across freeways! These signs are down in San Diego just after the border.
Carlos Mencia does a bit about this - If you want to see it, it's on itunes - Mind of Mencia, season 1, episode 101.
Another local band, but with a much bigger budget. I've seen these all over the country.
When I was little, the signs said 'Slow Children'. My dear mother would point and say that this was where the intellectually disadvantaged kids lived.
She meant well. Political correctness hadn't been pounded into people yet. Good thing, too - she would have spent a long time in the reeducation camps.
Here's a quick personality test. If you think this sign means to be careful not to run the little darlings over, well, you're a very nice person and should probably be a kindergarbage teacher.
If you think the sign means to avoid the area at night because the young thugs might beat you to a bloody pulp for your watch, you're probably a fan of Grumpy Cat and are in desperate need of a hug.

I sprinted up the stairs, skipping every other one. It was Friday. The week had dragged on and classes were over. I had to get back to my room, had to relax, that's all I was focused on. I hurtled the last few stairs and swerved around the cleaning sign, nearly brushing it down with my knee. I caught a glimpse of the writing out of the corner of my eye. In speedy looking hand writing was the phrase, "Jesus Saves," penned in sharpie. I had just began the motto, "If you look twice, it's worth taking a photo." I looked numerous times, thinking and debating whether it was worthy. I paced back to my room, and decided as card key unlocked the door that I'd go back to grab a photo. I've never seen something like it, and I have a feeling I never will again.
