After I had baked the little pink cakes and while the oven was still hot, I prepared a cake for my lunch(es). I put in it a small cauliflower and a small pattypan, red onions, Paris mushrooms and black olives, grated parmigiano, eggs and flour, salt and pepper, olive oil, maple syrup, thyme, rosemary and basil leaves... Helping make some Instant Pot soup, I dissected a cauliflower and this is what was left - the hidden part of the plant, the skeleton we rarely see. I took a break from the slicing and dicing for a quick photo op to document my anatomy lesson.

This was shot in the immediate vicinity of Varanasi (Benaras) in a part of the city which is located further the railroad station, where tourists never go and where I realize how extended the city can be.

I had a meeting with some people who were late and I started to take a few pictures of the market settled on both part of the railway.

This boy was selling cauliflowers, it was late in the afternoon so I believe that he was helping his family after school time...

My wife pointed this out in a supermarket yesterday and I had to have it to photograph then eat.

It is a Romanesk cauliflower.

I was intrigued by the patterns and shapes in it.
