The light streaming in through the living room windows, stretching later and later each evening, has got to be one of the happier parts of spring. Or, perhaps: the way very early spring appeases us spring-cravers, who can't deal with the still cold weather and lack of greenness.
...until the first day of autumn.
The last two days' worth of temperatures locally ought to be enough of a reminder; highs of 70s, whispers of smoke in the afternoon, chill in the air at night.
Yep, autumn is coming.
